To celebrate the company’s 50th Anniversary we designed and built our own show garden at the Malvern Spring Festival. We were awarded a Silver-Gilt by the RHS judges and also won the People’s Choice Award.
Our garden, “The Cotswold Way”, designed with Amy Perkins represented the company’s journey through the last 50 years from our beginnings in agriculture and forestry through to the here and now, designing and building garden projects of all sizes.
The Show Garden was inspired by the local landscape and vernacular architecture, with an agricultural building, timber cladding and curving dry stone wall and fence. The water feature channelled rain water through a filter bed on the roof of the building, into a waterfall trained down a number of chains into pond. The sculpture was designed and made using parts from old agricultural machinery creating a relevant and interesting focal point within the planting.
