Proud to have created this beautiful WW1 memorial garden in GWR park for South Swindon Parish Council. Each part of the structure tells a story to remind us of WWI. The Cross represents the medics, not only those at the front but also those in supporting roles at home. The horse reminds us of the local yeoman or cavalry and horses pulling cannons into war. Local engineers including men and women working in the railway industry are represented by the wheel and the rifle represents the main theme of warfare and reminds us than many Swindon soldiers joined the infantry.
