Small and beautifully formed!

A successful grant application under the Governments farming in protected landscapes scheme has partially funded and thus enabled us to purchase a new Danelander Mini Baler. This machinery is especially useful for garden and landscape maintenance in particular for the management of wildflower meadows where the removal of excess material is important to reduce the nutrient level of the ground thus ensuring the grasses do not out compete the wildflowers.  The mini baler transforms our previous method of cutting, this being a drum mower and manual removal of the cuttings. The process is now less labour intensive, more efficient and less expensive for our clients which allows more landowners to access this service. An additional benefit is that the cut grass is made into hay in a bale size that can easily be handled by man rather than machinery.

The baler is also particularly good on steep slopes and in small and awkward spaces.
