Cotswold Estates and Gardens Ltd, established in 1965 as Cotswold Estate Services Ltd, has evolved over the years to become acknowledged for its high standards and professional approach to a diverse variety of landscape projects.

Our reputation is illustrated by the repeat work we have achieved with well-recognised designers and clients, on high profile projects. Our professionally qualified personnel work together with other professionals and our clients to provide a comprehensive service and quality result.

1965
Our Journey Begins
Joe Watson Senior, founded our company applying science and his extensive experience to develop the exacting standards in horticultural and forestry techniques that still remain as the corner stone of our practices today.

1992
A second generation of horticultural excellence
In 1992 Joe Watson, was passed the mantle by his father and set about nurturing the business into one of the most respected and highly regarded landscaping companies in the Region.

2008
Fresh services and a new name
In Dec 2008 we changed our name from Cotswold Estate Services Ltd to Cotswold Estates and Gardens, Ltd – reflecting our expansion and the broadening of the range of services still enjoyed by our clients.

2011
New Offices
In Dec 2011 we extended our premises on the edge of Cirencester to house our growing team of experts and the inventory of state of the art equipment and machinery. The site boasts a ground source heat pump system. An ultra-efficient and eco-friendly way to extract heat from the ground to warm our premises.

2014
BALI National Landscape Award
Hot on the heels of our award-winning show garden in 2013 at the RHS Malvern Show, Cotswold Estates and Gardens receives a BALI award for ‘high levels of professionalism, workmanship and client satisfaction’ for the private garden at Down Ampney.

2015
A Silver Guilt for the team
Celebrating 50 years of serving the Cotswolds, we were awarded a prestigious Silver Guilt Medal by the Royal Horticultural Society for our ‘Cotswold Way‘  Show Garden, and we were particularly proud to win the coveted Peoples Choice award.

The Team

Our team are all directly employed and have a range of skills and qualifications in horticultural, construction, machinery and Health and Safety that ensure we can deliver all aspects of gardens and landscaping to a high standard and safely.  We continually provide training and encourage our team members to develop areas of expertise and qualifications.  Our project managers regularly check and review every project to ensure that our standards are achieved.
